Allstate is hiking homeowners insurance prices for Illinois policyholders by nearly 23% on average early next year. The rate hike is the largest in recent memory for Northbrook-based Allstate’s home-state customers and will add $324 to the average annual premium beginning in February, when the new rates take effect.
